8 Ways To Eat Yourself Beautiful!

Well, we are always being told that what we eat affects our bodies, but did you know that it can also affect your beauty? Everyone loves to eat, so here are the foods that will make you gorgeous, rather than grotesque!

1. Avocado

Avocados are amazing food for the skin! Try buying one, eating half, and using the other half to mix up in a soothing facial. They don’t contain cholesterol, and only good fats, and they really will make you glow. If you don’t like the strong flavour, try mixing a mashed avocado with yoghurt, for a milder, creamier taste!

2. Fish

Fish and other oily foods containing fatty acids are really good for the hair, and will give it a gorgeous natural gloss. Eggs and peanuts also contain B7, which is good for promoting growth and keeping it healthy.

3. Iron

Lack of iron is typical in people with weak or brittle nails, but even if yours look healthy, to keep them at their best you need to keep them nourished! Fresh vegetables, nuts, seeds and red meat are perfect for this.

4. Avocado… again?!

Eyes are constantly exposed to chemicals that dull them, so to get their sparkle back, you need to double your avocado intake. Avocados contain lutein, which protects the lenses of the eyes, meaning they will be moist, healthy and bright. Perfect for fluttering them at that cute new boy!

5. Milk

Want gorgeous teeth? Help them grow big and strong and stay that way by controlling your calcium intake. Milk is the best way to do this, as you can simply drink a few glasses a day, but cheese and yoghurt are great too.

6. Water

Water is the ultimate detox, and is the best way to get rid of spots too! If you get bored of bottled water, try flavoured, or even herbal tea, which contains 90% water and is perfect for taking on days out.

7. Strawberries

Now that it’s spring, strawberries are popping up everywhere, and you should grab some! Strawberries, blueberries, cranberries and artichokes are brilliant anti ageing foods, and will prevent wrinkles and fine lines. So what are you waiting for… fruit salad anyone?

8. Seafood

Dandruff always looks terrible and it only gets worse in the spring. Make sure you don’t get it by adding seafood, nuts, seeds and avocado to your diet, which contain vitamins which will nourish the scalp and prevent it from drying out and flaking.

These foods are all easy to find, and will do wonders for your body! And who doesn’t want to look great just by eating the right foods? I’m already planning an avocado themed girls night in with avocado nacho dips, so it doesn’t have to be boring foods. Do you know a food with secret beauty benefits? Please let me know!
